 Ripe cherries were carefully selected using a refractometer and separated hydraulically to ensure uniform quality. The coffee was solar-dried on raised beds in a single layer to achieve an ideal moisture content of 10.5–11.5%, then hulled and packaged at SIVCA Dry Mill in Ngozi town using Ecotact bags to preserve freshness and flavor.
