YAGIKAWA: means “Promote coffee!” The YAGIKAWA cooperative is an organisation of coffee producers located on Rwiri Hill, in the Matongo commune in Kayanza province. Created in 2006, the YAGIKAWA cooperative is Fairtrade certified and has 513 members, including 424 men and 89 women spread across 15 hills. It is known for its specialty coffee and its strong social impact.
