Kiryama Lot 02 stands out for its delicate floral fragrance, reminiscent of tea rose, complemented by subtle melon sweetness and bright citric notes. The cup is exceptionally clean with a long, sweet finish that reveals hints of caramel and candy.

Cultivated by smallholder producers in the hills of Butaganzwa Commune at 1,700–1,800 masl, this lot reflects the meticulous processing that defines Kiryama Washing Station. Hand-sorted cherries are carefully pulped, fermented in stages for up to 12 hours, soaked, and dried slowly on raised beds for up to 21 days—producing a balanced and refined expression of Burundi’s signature Red Bourbon profile.
